The style provides good face/neck coverage, while the short-haired fur combination makes it more of an all-weather hat rather than one for extreme arctic conditions.

- Fur: harp seal (WWF- and Greenpeace approved from cultural hunts conducted by Greenland Inuit), genuine shearling
- Tie strings: genuine Finnish reindeer leather.
- Lining: quilted fabric lining.
